1.ESP-WROOM-32 is a general-purpose WI-FI+BT+BLE MCU module.

2. Powerful and versatile, it can be used for low-power sensor networks and demanding tasks such as voice encoding, audio streaming and MP3 decoding.

3. The core of this module is the ESP32-D0WDQ6 chip, which is scalable and adaptive.

4. The two CPU cores can be individually controlled or powered up. The clock frequency can be adjusted from 80MHZ to 240MHZ.

5. Users can cut off the power supply to the CPU and utilize the low-power co-processor to constantly monitor peripheral status changes or whether certain analog quantities exceed thresholds.

6. ESP32 also integrates a rich set of peripherals, including capacitive touch sensors, Hall sensors, low-noise sensing amplifiers, for SD card interface, Ethernet interface, high-speed SDIO/SPI, UART, I2S and I2C.

CPU and Memory

The ESP32-D0WDQ6 has two built-in low-power for XTENSA 32-BIT for LX6MCUs.

On-chip memory includes:

1. 448KB of ROM for program startup and kernel function calls.

2. 520KB on-chip SRAM for data and instruction storage.

3. 8 KB of SRAM in the RTC, i.e., RTC slow memory, which can be accessed by the coprocessor in DEEP-SLEEP mode.

4. 8 KB SRAM in the RTC, the RTC fast memory, can be used for data storage as well as accessed by the main CPU when the RTC starts up in DEEP-SLEEP mode.

5. 1 KBIT of EFUSE, of which 256 BIT are system (MAC address and chip settings); the remaining 768 BIT are reserved for user applications, which include FLASH encryption and chip ID.
